Choral music is a great way for us mere mortals to participate in some of humankind’s greatest art. Either as a performer or as a member of the audience choral music can help us transcend our daily routine and, perhaps just for a fleeting moment, gain inspiration to help us on our journey though life.

 

If the quotation above is a bit too high brow perhaps Dumbledore said it just as well in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone: “Ah, music,” he said, wiping his eyes. “A magic beyond all we do here!”

Ashdown Singers are a Sussex based chamber choir performing concerts in South East England. Ashdown Singers can also be hired for weddings and private functions.
